The Oracle of the Black Doves is a divination system inspired by the Libyan Sibyls, the African prophetesses of classical times. A comprehensive guidebook accompanies the deck of 44 full-colour cards, featuring both Latin and English text. The deck provides a unique method of consulting the oracle, with in-depth explanations of each card's symbolism and how to properly phrase a question.

Created by tarot reader Tayannah Lee McQuillar and artist Katelan V. Foisy, the deck pays tribute to the often overlooked African founding mothers of the sibylline traditions. Through a blend of African and Classical influences, it aims to broaden perspectives and facilitate self-examination and decision-making for the seeker. Along with the history of the ancient Sibyls, the guidebook also delves into the continued Sibyl tradition in North Africa today.
